| I must mention that yesterday, July 9th, was 13 years since we landed as a family in Vancouver, BC on a summer's day Friday morning. Subsequently, the 9 years that followed was full of interesting adventures, good times and bad. It's a period that we all don't regret but without a doubt changed our lives for either the better or worse....still trying to decide. One thing is for certain, immigration can be a curse and blessing; you need to know when to curse it and when to bless it. But then you think of all the people you've come to know and how they have enriched your life in some way or another; you just can't take it back no matter how much you think it has cursed you. |

The day our container arrived, about 6 weeks after landing; I never knew how exciting it could be unpacking all your old junk again; was like getting the best presents of the year!

To my three best friends: thank-you for the 13-year adventure!
......as an on-going project, I will be creating a separate page show-casing the last 13 years of the dilllee side of life; more of a 'from the archives' project
Nice memories....
